MetroMedia partners nationwide with chambers of commerce, convention and visitors bureaus, associations, cities and sports teams to provide custom print, mobile, and online solutions.
David Small is a 30+ year marketing expert and co-owner of MetroMedia,Inc. He founded MetroMedia in 1997. He co-developed mobile platforms for chambers of commerce nationwide, as well as helping grow MetroMedia to serve over 100 partners in the Chambers, CVB, performing arts, and sports verticals. Small received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, a M.S. from the University of Kansas, and a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Small ran the partner marketing group at Sprint in the late 1990s to 2004, and he developed and managed partnerships with Bank of America, America Online, Discover, and other Fortune 100 companies. He served on the board of directors for Wayside Waifs, and he is a former board member of Hear of America Shakespeare Festival, the American Cancer Society, Kansas City Hospice, and the American Stroke Foundation.
He has been married to his college sweetheart since 1992 and they have four wonderful children.
Steve Rose is a veteran journalist and entrepreneur. Co-owner of MetroMedia, Inc., Rose owned a chain of newspapers -- Sun Publications -- until 1998, He is a weekly columnist for the Kansas City Star; and a regular panelist for KCPT’s Ruckus television program. Rose served as president of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, as well as vice chairman for the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; and he continues to be heavily involved in metro chamber affairs. He co-chaired the Bi-state initiative that saved Kansas City’s landmark, Union Station.
